Add users to the Esign group

I need to add 1000 individual users to the Esign group. Does anyone have suggestions on how to efficiently accomplish this?
Please note: the Esign group only accepts user accounts—group objects cannot be added. I attempted to use the groupaction tag in a web report, but received an error stating the group is invalid.
