1. Hit the URL:
http://<HOSTNAME>:<PORT>/<SERVICENAME>/livelink?func=admin.index
2. CONFIGURE EXTERNAL SYSTEM CONNECTION:
- Navigate to Enterprise → Enterprise Application Integration → Connections to Business Applications (External Systems)
- Add Item → Bussiness Application
- Provide the details same as below. Note: Business Application ID should be always ‘SuccessFactors’

3. TRANSPORTS SETUP
- Navigate to Enterprise → Enterprise Application Integration → SAP SuccessFactors Integration → Configure Module Specific Settings
- Download the transport packages by clicking on download beside Transport Packages.
- Import those transports via tranport warehouse. First import othcm_central.zip and then othcm_central_wstemplates.zip
4. GLOBAL TEMPLATE CONFIGURATION
- Navigate to Enterprise → Enterprise Application Integration → SAP SuccessFactors Integration → Global Template Configuration
- Select sfsf:user/sfsf:candidate Business Object and SuccessFactors Template OTHCM_Employee_WS_Template_NA.
5. CONFIGURE HR FUNCTIONAL RIGHTS
Select sfsf:user/sfsf:candidate Business Object and SuccessFactors Template OTHCM_Employee_WS_Template_NA.
6. MAP ROLES IN TEMPLATE:
- Navigate to Enterprise → Document Templates → SuccessFactor --> Type: Business Workspace OTHCM_Employee_WS_Template_NA
- Context menu → Team Roles and Participants.
- Add the roles which are configured in the HR Functional Rights and provide See and See contents permissions.
- Add 1. Manager
- Add 2. Employee Self Service
- Add 3. HR Role
7 .CREATION OF USERS, Groups, Workspaces and Permissions via Schedule Job
- Navigate to Enterprise → Enterprise Application Integration → Schedule Bots
- Create new schedule job
- Product Component : SAP SuccessFactors Integration
- Scheduled Bot: User Synchronization.
- Provide a user filter and run the job. This will create a users from SF tenent.
- Create new schedule job
- Product Component : SAP SuccessFactors Integration
- Scheduled Bot: Group Synchronization.
- Run the job. This will create a groups from SF tenent as per the roles provided in HR Functional Rights
- Create new schedule job
- Product Component : SAP SuccessFactors Integration
- Scheduled Bot: Central Workspace Creation/Update
- Provide a user filter and run the job. This will create a workspaces for the users from SF tenent.
- Create new schedule job
- Product Component : SAP SuccessFactors Integration
- Scheduled Bot: Permission Synchronization.
- Run the job. This will assign the team participants to the workspaces according the role configured at template level.
8. VERIFICATION of User Logins.
- Create user login passwords to the users created viz scheduled jobs from Users and Groups.
- Try logging in with the respective user and verify whether permission are applied correctly.

- Find out the HR, Employee and Manger relations of the users and verify only respective members can access their workspaces.
